Mandy Faddis is a saxophonist and woodwind player in Los Angeles. A solo artist and accomplished section leader in all styles, she frequently writes and arranges for live horns - leading her own sections performing and recording.Performing in all genres, she has been featured with multi-platinum hard rock band Extreme, electro-pop duo Madcon, classic and progressive rock band Journey, Grammy-award winning salsa ensemble Pacific Mambo Orchestra, dance/pop vocalist Che'nelle, and the San Francisco jazz institution Tommy Igoe Big Band under the leader of the Birdland Big Band in NYC.Further performances include members of Men at Work (Colin Hay), INXS (Garry Beers), The Who (Frank Simes), Earth Wind and Fire, Santana, Tower of Power, Guns N Roses, The Doobie Brothers, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Goo Goo Dolls, and more.Currently, Mandy is leading and writing/arranging for the resident horn section at Steve Ferlazzo's weekly production Soundcheck Live at the Lucky Strike stage in Hollywood.She performs with the funk band Funk Dolls led by Berlin keyboardist Dave Schulz leading her all-female horn section Brass Belles, which also recorded in 2016 with dance/pop vocalist Che'nelle. She plays lead sax for the Rat Pack tribute project The Tramps (produced by John Stamos), and local feaures include
