MARLON BOONE has a perfected talent that encompasses the Alto, Tenor and Soprano saxophones.Though he is a current resident of Tampa, FloridaMARLON began his musical journey as a saxophonist at age 10 in his hometown of Pahokee, Florida. As graduate of Pahokee High School, MARLONS musical talent was groomed for success over years while studying music at Bethune-Cookman University and Florida State University MARLON was a featured performer in the Marching Wildcat Band. Since then MARLON has continued to study music perfecting and polishing his technical skills in a broad range of genres of music. Over the last 20 yearsMARLON BOONE the artist, has traveled extensively making concert & guest appearances as a solo artist as well with his R&B Band "CITY GROOVE"MARLON'S powerful stage presence & passion for performing has become the hallmark for his solo shows. Simply aimed to amaze, woo and satisfy his audience. MARLON has opened and performed on stage with industry greats: Pieces of a Dream, saxophonists Kim Waters, Will Donato, Elan Troutman, Pamela Williams, Dee Lucus, recording artist Howard Hewitt and Tank, smooth jazz trumpeter Joey Summerville and a host of others.Reviews have compared his talent to the late Grover Washington Jr., Kirk Wahlum, & Boney James.MARLONs keen and unique ear for music coupled with soulful smooth improvisation consistently electrifies crowds & listeners are left with a soulful musical experience.
